QUALITY POLICY

The continuing Policy of Monex Holdings Ltd is to provide our clients with a safe and efficient road transportation and delivery service of bulk Petroleum Products; a high quality, professional and efficient service to ensure the satisfaction of all of the requirements of our clients. This achievement will result in securing efficiency, a strong customer focus and enhancement of long-term sustainability and profitability within Monex Holdings Ltd.

The Management Team will show leadership and commitment, and bear the responsibility for establishing, implementing, integrating and maintaining the (IMS) Integrated Management System which includes the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard.

We undertake to ensure sufficient resources are made available within Monex Holdings Ltd to achieve this. We undertake to ensure through communication, engagement, practical example and training that Quality is the aim of all members of Monex Holdings Ltd.

Through direction and support, each employee will have a proper understanding of the importance of the Quality System function, their responsibility to contribute to its effectiveness, and its direct relevance to the success of Monex Holdings Ltd.

Equally, every employee is responsible for, and will be trained to perform the duties required by his or her specific role.

Monex Holdings Ltd has a Policy of promoting continual improvement and setting of Quality Objectives in line with the framework laid down within ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard. These objectives will address the risks and opportunities within the Organisation as determined by Senior Management.

The Quality Management System within the IMS (Integrated Management System) will be monitored, measured, evaluated and enhanced regularly under Monex managements ultimate responsibility, with regular reporting and communication of the status and effectiveness at all levels

 

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Monex Holdings Limited (MHL) is committed to providing a safe and healthy place in which to work and will:

• Observe and enforce the relevant Acts, Regulations, standards and codes of practice that apply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 / ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management Standard and ACC WSMP.
• Require Drivers to drive safely and within the legal speed limit at all times
• Require drivers to undertake, maintain and continuously improve a Safe and healthy working environment
• Provide Education and training in the correct use of machinery, equipment and materials used at MHL.
• Support & encourage all workers to participate and contribute towards improving Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Ensure all Health and Safety Initiatives are followed up and action taken.
• Provide the opportunity and encourage all team members to report all accidents accurately, incidents, near misses, and hazards as they are observed.
• Ensure all safety and protective equipment provided is worn at all times.
• Respond immediately to any reports of unsafe work conditions, equipment, machinery, or incident reports.
• Ensure that visitors and contractors are advised of and comply with MHL H&S Guidelines and sign in.
• Support the early and safe return to work of employees by implementing a rehabilitation plan.
• Provide work instructions, which insist on safe work practices, which make Monex Holdings Ltd a healthy / safe workplace.
• Identify and document for workers all potential hazards likely to be encountered on delivery to other sites.
• Operate a non-smoking, no alcohol, and no drug taking policy.
• Ensuring that the relevant Legislation pertaining to the transportation of Dangerous Goods and any other relevant acts / legislation is available / communicated and adhered to by the appropriate employees.
• Ensuring that all employees are trained and competent in the Company’s Emergency Procedures.
• Ensure that all Chemical / Oil spills are reported, recorded and investigated to ensure that procedures are modified to avoid similar incidents happening again.
• Continuously reviewing our policies procedures and documents through Internal Audits and Management Review Meetings to promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with this policy.
• Ensuring that our vehicles are regularly serviced
• Ensuring that all drivers are trained in defensive driving and any other Driving systems developed specifically for the Cartage of Dangerous goods.
• Managing our business with the goal of preventing incidents and of controlling emissions and wastes to below harmful levels.

Monex Holdings Ltd will provide safe working conditions, define standards, teach safe working practices and provide information and control measures for hazards in the workplace.

It is the prime responsibility of all staff to ensure that company activities are performed safely and without harm to fellow workers, contractors, customers, the community and environment.

Managers are expected to have an understanding of health and safety issues relevant to their roles and the areas that they control and are accountable for the safety and Occupational Health of workers under their direction.

Environmental Policy

Monex Holdings Limited (MHL) is committed to its responsibility in reducing and protecting the environment from pollutants as a good corporate citizen. To ensure that no action or inaction on the part of MHL Employees pollutes the environment, MHL is committed to:

• Ensuring that the relevant Legislation pertaining to the transportation of Dangerous Goods and any other relevant acts / legislation is available / communicated and adhered to by the appropriate employees.
• Ensuring we meet our ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard requirements.
• Ensuring that all employees are trained and competent in the Company’s Emergency Procedures.
